Cozy Haven Guesthouse

Beautiful hotel (exposed stone, warm wood, large windows) right on the lake. Quiet neighborhood, beds and pillows comfortable, we slept well. Hosts were warm and friendly and we communicated well via google translate. Free secured parking located in lot two minute walk from hotel. Path up to historic basilica (and peninsula) located right across street from hotel. Highly recommend. Would stay again.

The Ohrid Lake is magic, we enjoyed the kayak tour in the morning, with breathtaking views! We also enjoyed the dinner, fresh fish from the lake. It was delicious!

This guest house was absolutely amazing. The location is beautiful. The people working in the guest house were incredibly friendly and helpful. The free parking is just round the corner. The dinner in the villa was amazing and so reasonable priced. We also made the most of the free breakfast and used the kayaks on the lake. All in all it was just the best stay. If I ever return to Albania I will be heading straight to Lin and straight to Vila 43!

Villa 43 and the family who run it are exceptional . The rooms are modern, comfortable and have wonderful views of the lake , and there is a lovely dining/ breakfast room leading onto a pretty garden where one can go straight into the lake to swim and / or kayak . We ate lake caught fish for dinner there which was delicious , and the breakfast was very good too . However , even more impressive was the care they took of us when having rented kayaks from them, a storm set in when we were a little way down the coast . We had to park on the kayaks on a beach and the owner came to look for us , others met us with towels after we had hiked back and they retrieved the kayaks the next morning , all without making us feel bad ( although we did ). We hugely recommend this place .
